The Data Each Local Authority Needs to Provide for Phase 2 (Jan 17th to March 17 th 2006 )
Local Directgov will issue two lists of required service/interaction combinations:
1.
Priority Services (that LAs completed in phase 1 that ran from October to December 2005)
2. Phase 2 services and interactions (that LAs are currently being requested to submit by March 17 th 2006 )
The Local Authority will need to provide the data defined below:
- Local Government Service List (LGSL) reference number - only services on the approved Local Government Service List will be used. Local Directgov may not use all valid references from the Local Government Service List
- Local Government Interaction List (LGIL) reference number - only interactions on the approved Local Government Interaction List will be used. Reference number 8 (= Providing Information) will be used for each service. For some services, other interactions, with their appropriate Local Government Interaction reference number, may also be used
- Local Government Channel List (LGChL) reference number - this will default to 1 (= website)
- A 'not provided' flag - a flag to be set when the Local Authority does not provide the requested service
- URL of the page within Local Authority's website which is most appropriate for the Service / Interaction - a single URL is required for each requested service / interaction combination that the Local Authority provides. If the authority provides a service but there is no URL available because it has not been e-enabled, no entry should be made (Local Directgov will default to the URL of the contacts page). If there is more than one possible URL for the service / interaction combination, the Local Authority should choose the most appropriate one for the user to enter the site. Please note that the URL should relate to a site which is owned by the Local Authority or is operated on its behalf by a contracted third party. For guidance on selecting and entering URLs into the esd-toolkit please see Factsheet 11.
